ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND! Labor Day Weekend gave us sunny, blue skies, cool breezes, and low humidity—perfect for enjoying the “last” bit of summer! Good crowds of visitors were seen on the beach, in local shops and restaurants, and on our waterways.
OUR “SECOND SUMMER” STARTS NOW! Labor Day may have passed, but it’s the start of something good…our “Second Summer!” Long anticipated by locals and visitors alike, the weather is gorgeous and the water is still warm, but the crowds are thinner and the traffic is lighter. Whether you’re going out fishing or going out to eat, hitting the beach or hitting the shops, enjoy a slightly more relaxed vibe during our “Second Summer!”

KEEP AN EYE ON THE SKY! If you missed last weekend’s AirFest at Naval Air Station Wildwood, be sure to catch Thunder Over the Waves Airshow in Wildwood. The show is centered over the Wildwood beach, but will be visible from many areas. You may even see aircraft from the beaches of Avalon and Stone Harbor as they arrive and depart the show! - NJ Firefighters Memorial Parade. Fire apparatus from all over the state parade north on New Jersey Avenue, from Cresse Avenue to 21st Street. Wildwood, Saturday, September 13th, 2pm.
- Bulk Trash Collection in Stone Harbor, Monday, September 15th.
- Savor en Blanc. Enjoy twinkling lights on 96th Street with live music, dancing, food, drink and fun. Tickets are available at the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce. Friday, September 19th.
