CAPE MAY COUNTY set a record with $8.1 billion in tourism spending in 2024 according to Diane Wieland, Director of the Cape May County Department of Tourism. That’s up 5% over the prior year, reflecting “growth across all sectors, including lodging, retail, food and beverage, recreation, and transportation.”
THE THIRTY RICHEST PLACES TO LIVE IN NEW JERSEY were listed by Money Inc.com. Avalon ranked 16th according to the magazine’s formula, with an average home value exceeding $2.5 million. Ranked 17th was, you guessed it, Stone Harbor, with an average home value of $2,261,854 according to the magazine. Other factors were cited, too, including beaches and upscale amenities.
