AHLOA MEETING: The Avalon Home and Land Owners Association invites you to its annual meeting at Community Hall this Saturday (August 8th) at 9am. Avalon Mayor John McCorriston will deliver his annual State of the Borough address, followed by discussion on the proposed Avalon Library and History facility, plus a Q&A with the Mayor, Business Administrator, Police Chief, and Library Director.

A WHALE OF A SIGHTING! Yes, a whale was spotted just off the beach a few days ago, in the area between 92nd Street and 96th Street. The huge, gentle creature could be seen surfacing and spouting beyond the surf line, to the delight of beachgoers!
