LOOK FOR DREDGE EQUIPMENT to begin mobilizing this week. With Strathmere’s beach replenishment project concluding, the start of Avalon’s project is now imminent. Avalon’s beaches will remain open during the replenishment project, with temporary rolling closures occurring in the immediate vicinity of the work zone. When Avalon’s project concludes, the dredge and equipment will move to Stone Harbor to begin that project.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND brings back the annual AirFest at Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. It’s a must-do for any fan of aviation or military history, and includes four days of aircraft displays, daily fly ins, military vehicles and fire trucks, food trucks, vendors, and live music.
