TRASH SCHEDULE (WINTER) – January 1st, 2026 to May 16th, 2026 and September 13th 2026 to December 31st, 2026.
- MONDAY – 80th Street to 93rd Street – Ocean to Bay (Includes Linden, Pennsylvania, Sunset)
- TUESDAY – 94th Street to 104th Street — Ocean to Bay (Includes Berkley, Charles, Corinthian, Golden Gate, Seng, Sunrise, Weber)
- WEDNESDAY – 104th Street to 122nd Street — Ocean to Bay (Includes Bower, Chelsea, Paradise, Stone, Sunset, Weber)
TRASH SCHEDULE (SUMMER) – May 17, 2026 to September 12, 2026.
- MONDAY and THURSDAY – 80th Street to 93rd Street – Ocean to Bay (Includes Linden, Pennsylvania, Sunset)
- TUESDAY and FRIDAY — 94th Street to 104th Street – Ocean to Bay (Includes Berkley, Charles, Corinthian, Golden Gate, Seng, Sunrise, Weber)
- WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY – 104th Street to 122nd Street – Ocean to Bay (Includes Bower, Chelsea, Paradise, Stone, Sunset, Weber)

- Trash in plastic bags must be placed in rigid receptacles with tight-fitting covers.
Do not place any trash or recyclables curbside! The Borough provides “rear yard” pickup. We ask that you put your address/house number on your trash cans and lids. It helps returning your cans/lids to your property shall they become airborne during any storm events in Stone Harbor.
For safe and reliable trash collection during snowy or icy conditions, please ensure:
- A clear path to your trash cans: Shoveling a path to your cans is essential for our crews to safely access them.
- Or, place your cans at the street: If a clear path cannot be maintained, please place your cans at the curb for collection.
Stone Harbor’s Trash and Recycling Convenience Center is open daily from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The Convenience Center is located on 81st Street, near Third Avenue, adjacent to the Public Works Building. Please note that this location is only for household trash and recyclables, no bulk or brush/yard debris will be accepted.
