SUNDAY MORNING WATER RESCUE: Stone Harbor and Avalon Fire Departments responded to a water rescue this past Sunday, along with North Wildwood and Wildwood Fire Departments. Two kayakers were reported in distress and were located by two firefighters aboard Stone Harbor’s fireboat about a half-mile off Stone Harbor Point. One kayak had capsized, and one was filling with water. Stone Harbor’s fireboat transported the victims to the beach, then to two ambulances waiting at the 123rd Street parking lot.
