AVALON HAS ANNOUNCED that meteorologist Joe Martucci will be part of the Borough’s emergency management and floodplain teams. The well-known tv and online weather forecaster “brings a unique skillset and brand to Avalon that will greatly assist with our emergency management and floodplain challenges,” said Avalon Mayor John McCorristin. Martucci also volunteered to create an Avalon-specific flood risk video to be shared via the Borough’s online communication channels in advance of a severe storm.
